What does flamingolove say about that? He (or she – I’m guessing “she”) calls Ethel a hag and and snake and tells her to crawl back under her rock!

My theory is that flamingolove works for a competing restaurant and is trying to sabotage Angelina’s.

I know Ethel and she writes a good blog. I take great offense to flamingolove’s name-calling. (Okay, I’ll grant you that Ethel is a bit of a hag . . . but I say that in the nicest way possible).

it is customary to actually read a blog post before leaving a response or comment. did you even read any of ethel’s post? did you understand what it said?

from my reading of the post, ethel was nothing but complimentary of angelina’s, and she was only trying to be helpful.

how is what ethel wrote “untrue and very one sided”? please enlighten us.

where in ethel’s post does she do any “bashing”? i can’t find it.

and, are you aware of some costa rican law that says “happy hour must end precisely at 7:00 at angelina’s restaurant and no manager has any discretion whatsoever after 7:00 to offer complimentary or discounted cocktails”? (although that was not the point of ethel’s post, which you would know if you had actually read it).

i think you owe the old hag an apology. (and you should change your name from “flamingolove” to “flamingohate” because you, not ethel, are the hate-monger).

if you have something of substance to share with us, please do so. however, if you don’t have a clue what you’re talking about and if your only “argument” is to call ethel an “old hag” and a “snake”, keep it to yourself.

i don’t know ethel personally . . . maybe she is an old hag, i don’t know . . . but i enjoy reading her posts and i think she is very “cool” and “mature”. if i disagreed with something that ethel wrote, i’d write a response that explained why and how i disagreed. that’s what mature people do.

only immature, uncool people who have nothing constructive to say engage in name-calling and clichés like “crawl back under the rock you came out of you snake”. (very witty and original, flamingolove).

do you and costalove (which i assume is also you) not realize that your immature comments are doing far more to injure angelina’s reputation than ethel ever could have. if you (and costalove) are “part of angelina’s”, your comments make me believe that the restaurant must, indeed, be an unfriendly place.

i don’t want to go to a restaurant where the people who work there have no understanding of the basics of customer service and refer to their patrons as “old hags” and “snakes”.

ethel, in her post, says that she goes to angelina’s often and she encourages others to do so. i wonder if that will change, now that she knows that people there think she’s an old hag and a snake who should crawl back under a rock.

if your goal is to keep customers away from angelina’s . . . you’re doing a good job, flamingolove.
