Surrounded by beautiful foliage and tropical flowers, on the second floor of the elegant three-storey tree house rancho of Hotel Conchal in Playa Brasilito, Guanacaste, Costa Rica is the wonderful Papaya Restaurant, which prepares healthy fresh delicious food . . . specializing in seafood, Asian, European and Latin cuisine.
I had the pleasure of dining at Papaya several days ago (I had seared tuna in a wasabi mustard sauce that was incredible) and I intended to write a review.
However, a few days later, David Mills, the publisher and editor of the best local magazine, The Howler beat me to it.
David is a much better writer than I am (and I’m lazy); therefore, I though, “Why re-invent the wheel . . . I’m sure David won’t mind if reprint his review of the Papaya Restaurant here (especially if I promise to buy some more advertising space from him).
So, here is David’s review:
I highly recommend that you give Papaya a try . . . you won’t regret it.Oh, and be sure to pick up your free copy of The Howler when you see it on display in restaurants, bars, shops, etc., up and down the “Gold Coast” of Costa Rica – it’s a great source of information, entertainment and just good reading.
