Pollo Tropical – Brasilito, Guanacaste
1
December 10th, 2009Costa Rica, Food and Drink

I drove by Pollo Tropical ( which is located after you cross the bridge in Brasilito heading towards Conchal) virtually every day. It looked inviting, but I never passed by at a time when I was hungry . . . until yesterday.
Now, I wish I’d made a point of stopping sooner! The ownership/staff was extremely friendly and the food was great! (If you’re looking for lobster ravioli in an elegant atmosphere, go to Mar y Sol in Flamingo; but if you want good typical Costa Rican food – chicken, pork or fish, with beans, rice and salad – for 3,500 colones – give Pollo Tropical a try).
There are tables and chairs on the side of the restaurant, but I enjoyed sitting up to the bar and watching the traffic and people go by as I enjoyed my very generous portion of chicken and fixings.
For casual, fast and inexpensive food, I highly recommend that you try Pollo Tropical.
And, remember, “Same price for foreigns“!

Tell them Ethel the Frog sent you.
Did you know this: Cranberries are sorted for ripeness by bouncing them; a fully ripened cranberry can be dribbled like a basketball. . . .Now you do!Related posts:
