Shrink Your URLs

Do you often share links via e-mail, Twitter, etc? Are those URL links unmanagably long?
A long URL link will often break in e-mail, making it “unclickable” by the recipient. With Twitter, you only have 140 characters to work with, so you don’t want to use up those characters with a long URL link.
Here’s the answer to the problem:
Instead of sharing a long URL, use one of several URL-shortening services to shrink that link. My favorites are tinyurl.com, is.gd, ow.ly, and bit.ly.
You can give tinyURL a try right here: (Just type in a long URL and tinyURL will create a tiny URL that will not break in e-mail postings and never expires).
