A couple of weeks ago, I bought some incredible software called “MyBiz Manager Software Suite”. I was amazed at what could be done with this powerful suite of software tools . . . and I wanted to share my discovery with my friends and readers.Therefore, I purchased the resale rights to the software and I am now offering it for sale to you, here at my blog.

I used to think that the so-called “birthers” (who questioned Obama’s eligibility to be President of the United States because he refused to produce an actual birth certificate) were a bunch of nuts. The theory was that Obama was born in either Kenya or Indonesia . . . and there was some circumstantial evidence that seemed to support either theory.The only thing that I couldn’t understand is why Obama didn’t just produce the damn certificate and be done with it.
Well, after years of dilatory B.S., Obama finally posted on the Internet what he claims is his actual long-form Hawaiian birth certificate.
Why, suddenly did Obama give in and offer up the elusive birth certificate? Conspiracy theorists will be quick to tell you that, when the birth certificate was posted, Obama knew that the operation to murder Osama bin Laden was already in the works. When news of bin Laden’s death hit the media, everything else – from Charlie Sheen’s antics to the issue of Obama’s birth certificate – would be lost in the media mayhem, and forgotten . . . You know, the “Wag the Dog” concept.
As most of you know, I am something of a computer geek and I know my way around some of the more popular software applications – especially those concerned with graphics, video, photography, etc.
Therefore, I was fascinated when some of my fellow geeks took a closer look at the purported birth certificate posted by Obama and discovered that it was a rather poorly crafted fake.
Now, I find myself questioning whether Donald Trump and the hundreds of thousands of other “birthers” are perhaps not as loony as I first thought.

Facebook has recently made some changes, one of which could make some of your friends “invisible” on your News Feed. If you go to the bottom of your News Feed (Home) page and click on “Edit Options” you will see that, pursuant to the new “default” option, you will see only posts from friends and pages that you interact with most.
I don’t know why Facebook would have made this change – I would assume that most people want to see posts from all of their friends and pages. Luckily, you can easily change this by simply selecting the option to receive posts from “all your friends and pages”. Click “Save” and you’re done._________________________________________________________
I have found some great free software. DVDVideoSoft.com offers a bunch of free applications that allow you to download videos from YouTube, convert video and audio from one format to another, record screen video, make 3D photos, burn CDs and DVDs, edit video and audio, etc., etc. I recommend that you download the “Free Studio” which gives you all the applications in one package. The software is wonderful and the interface is beautiful.

Every place you see a red balloon or thumb tack is the home of a convicted felon. Just hover your mouse over an icon and not only will the name come up, but also the crime they were convicted of.

Adobe Photoshop is wonderful . . . but priced at just under a thousand bucks, it’s a little beyond the reach of some of us.
If you want (pretty much) the same functionality of Photoshop for free, give GIMPshop a try.
From the GIMPshop Web site:
GIMPshop is a modification of the free/open source GNU Image Manipulation Program (GIMP), intended to replicate the feel of Adobe Photoshop. Its primary purpose is to make users of Photoshop feel comfortable using GIMP.
It shares all GIMP’s advantages, including the long feature list and customisability, while addressing some common criticisms regarding the program’s interface: GIMPshop modifies the menu structure to closely match Photoshop’s, adjusts the program’s terminology to match Adobe’s, and, in the Windows version, uses a plugin called ‘Deweirdifier’ to combine the application’s numerous windows in a similar manner to the MDI system used by most Windows graphics packages. While GIMPshop does not support Photoshop plugins, all GIMP’s own plugins, filters, brushes, etc.
Due to the changes to the interface, many Photoshop tutorials can be followed in GIMPshop unchanged, and most others can be adapted for GIMPshop users with minimal effort.

Roaming around the Web, I’ve found some great free games for you.

I’ve always been a big fan of turn-based strategy games . . . particularly the Heroes of Might & Magic series. These games are more relaxing than real-time strategy games (which I also like, but which require constant and often frantic mouse clicking, resource management, building, etc.) Whilst playing a turn-based game, you can sip a cocktail while you leisurely plan your next move.
The Battle for Wesnoth is the definitive open-source (free) turn-based fantasy game. This game has been under continuous development since 2003, and has matured into a deep, nuanced strategy game, with a touch of unpredictability.
You can also create your own campaigns and scenarios.

Finally, here are a couple of very interesting games (that can only be played at night – really!): Hotel 626 and Asylum 626.
Hotel 626 is a horror puzzle game that has great production value, and will use such elements as your webcam, microphone, and even your cell phone.
Asylum 626 should be played in the dark, wearing headphones . . . be prepared to poop your pants!
