I invite you to add a comment or two to this post, letting us all know what the status is of restaurants in the Flamingo, Potrero and Brailito area.
I know that Flamingo Pizza and Subs re-opened a couple of days ago, for the high season (now with free wi-fi).
After hearing it mentioned on Radio Flamingo (96.9 FM), I checked out Pura Vitalia, which is located about 200 meters south of the turn-off to Potrero. The food was great, the service was very friendly, the real hand-squeezed lime margaritas are wonderful . . . and there is a cute playground, with a trampoline, for the kids. It’s good to see that Marie’s, Mariner Inn, Happy Snapper, Cameron Dorado, Il Forno, Maxwell’s, and the wonderful, intimate Papaya at the Conchal Hotel are all open for business.
The new el oasis (the former site of Outback Jack’s) at the Hotel Brasilito is also now open, and the “reviews” are good.I hope some of you can fill me in on the status of Mar y Sol, Angelina’s, The Shack, Marco Polo, El Castillo, El Coconut, the new Lola’s, etc., etc.
Let us know about these restaurants, as well as ones I’ve failed to mention, and please give us your reviews.
